Chartreuse

A French herbal liqueur made by Carthusian monks since 1737.

Chartreuse comes in two colors: Green (55% ABV, aggressive, herbaceous) and Yellow (40% ABV, milder and honey-sweet). It carries 130 botanicals whose recipe two monks know at a time. It is the defining ingredient of the Last Word and the Bijou.
