Build

Assemble a cocktail directly in the glass it is served in.

The build is the simplest method: pour ingredients over ice in the serving glass, stir briefly, garnish. Old Fashioneds, highballs, and Negronis on the rocks are all built drinks. The technique keeps carbonation intact and requires no shaker.
