Agricole

A French style of rum distilled from fresh sugar-cane juice.

Rhum agricole is grassy, vegetal, mineral — the flavor of the cane field, not the molasses barrel. It comes from Martinique and Guadeloupe under an AOC and is the base for Ti' Punch. It is not interchangeable with molasses-based rum.
